Primary education at SSSU for students from Primary 1 (P1) to Primary 3 (P3) is designed to establish a strong foundation for academic and personal development. It focuses on nurturing creativity, critical thinking, communication, and physical well-being through a broad and engaging curriculum that includes the following subjects:News, Oral Literature, Mathematics, Literacy I, Literacy II, English, Creative Performing Arts (Music, Arts and Crafts), Physical Education, Religious Education, Free Activity, Library. 

At SSSU, the curriculum for Primary 4 to Primary 7 is thoughtfully structured into subject areas to support learners’ holistic growth and academic excellence. This stage introduces two core competencies:

  1. Subject Competencies: Designed to develop learners’ understanding and mastery of the specific content in each subject.
  2. Language Competencies: Focused on building confidence in using English or the local language effectively for both oral and written communication.
