YOUR CHILD’S MENTAL HEALTH AND CREATIVITY MATTERS

Happy Children

A child’s mental health and creativity blossoms from home where parents provide love, care, and constant communication. Every child has come to this world with full potential like a SEED, in search of the perfect soil and atmosphere to become a sapling, later on, a tree that bears fruits for everyone around.

UNLEASHING YOUR CHILD’S CREATIVITY

  • Parents should search and identify their child’s hidden talents through inspiring stories. Kids love to see themselves in between those characters. And this also enhances positive imagination and fosters creativity.
  • Encourage children to innovate and involve them in activities such as drawing, painting, music signing or sports rather than passive engagements such as playing mobile games or watching videos.
  • Make time for your child and allow them to ask questions as you are their FIRST GURUS and role model. Parents are the first source of information. Remember, if we are busy, they will eventually feel lost, yet, their energy is still seeking answers. Eventually, they will grab whatever is thrown at them, and that would build their life.

MINDFULNESS PRACTICES AT SCHOOL

The average attention span of an adult today is 8 to 10 minutes per year. This is due to our exposure and dependency on technology. We have so many things to depend on we have started ignoring our mental capabilities.

Mindfulness exercises in every stage of life will help children develop moment-to-moment awareness. Through these exercises, the objective is to increase their attention span and focus on the present moment.

  • Schools should implement competitive activities like singing, music, sports, painting, and crafts, which have taken a back seat.
  • Further monitoring their interest in each activity would help their wavering mind in diverting emotional imbalance instead of draining and unleashing in a more creative version of themselves.
  • Yoga and meditation have gained worldwide recognition as effective tools for cultivating resilience, creativity, and a strong mind, even from a young age. It is crucial that we acknowledge the significance of these practices and begin incorporating them into our lives.
  • Dedicating just 45 minutes each day to practice can help us release unwanted emotions generated by the mind and prepare ourselves to face whatever the day brings. Let us embrace these transformative practices and reap their benefits in our daily existence.

By practicing mindfulness and fostering an environment of understanding and support, we can create a world where children’s mental health is prioritised and celebrated.

Let us embark on this journey together, embracing the power of mindfulness and nurturing the minds of our children, as they are the architects of a brighter future.
